Frequently Asked Questions

How long can I expect the job to take?

There are no two jobs the same and it will depend entirely on what you will be having done as to how long the job takes.

Whatever it is that you are having done. You deserve to have it done safely and professionally. We aim to complete our installations when we say we will, however, occasionally things materialise that cannot reasonably be predicted. We work with our customers to overcome whatever issues that have arisen, we do not rush and compromise with the safety and quality we seek to achieve.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET READY FOR YOU TO START WORK IN MY HOUSE?

We would ask that you make the proposed working area completely clear.

My boiler is low on water pressure, is it safe?

Running boilers with insufficient water pressure can cause air in your system and subsequently over time can cause component issues so if you find you are continually topping up your pressure this indicates an underlying fault

My boiler service is due do I need to get this done?

Only landlords have a legal duty of care to ensure all gas appliances are safe and fit for purpose by use of a registered gas engineer. Over the years I have found homeowners to have unsafe situations which they are unaware of due to non-regular safety checks /servicing.

We strongly recommend annual inspection of all gas appliances for yours and your neighbours’ safety

What should I do if I smell gas?

Turn off your gas supply at your meter. Open your windows. Do not operate any light switches. Call a gas safe registered engineer
